Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Host Agent, LLC (“Host Agent”), based in Prescott, Arizona (hostagent.net), handles information in the billing portal at my.hostagent.net.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, business name, email address, phone number and billing address.
  • Billing records: your plans, orders, invoices, receipts and payment history.
  • Payment method: handled by PayPal. We see only limited details PayPal shares with us, such as the card type, the last four digits and the expiry date. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and cookies needed to keep you logged in and your cart working.

3. How we use it

  • To set up and charge your subscriptions and send itemized receipts.
  • To send account emails, such as renewal notices, failed-payment notices and password resets.
  • To answer your billing questions and keep accurate business and tax records.
  • To keep the portal secure.

We do not sell your information.

4. Who we share it with

  • PayPal: processes and stores your payment method and handles charges.
  • Postmark: delivers the emails the portal sends.
  • WP Engine: hosts the portal and its data.
  • Others only when the law requires it.

5. Cookies

The portal uses cookies that it needs to work, for example to keep you logged in and remember your cart.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and billing records while you are a client and for 7 years after, or longer if the law requires it.

7. Your choices

You can update your details in your account at any time. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, email billing@hostagent.net. Some billing records must be kept for legal or tax reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure connections and a payment provider that keeps card data off our systems. No system is perfectly secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email you about significant changes.
